Cap table
The reduction in an existing shareholder's ownership percentage when a company issues new shares — for a financing round, an option pool top-up, or a new advisor grant. Dilution is normal and expected; the question is whether a founder understands how much of it is coming before a round closes, not whether it happens at all.
